Root beer floats on the patio!

Chloe got an early birthday present, her very own first cell phone! She's so excited and text and called everyone right away! Be ready for your phone's to blow up from her, lol! Three months until she's double digits!!!

Tuesday August 7th

Cousins play date! Started at the library for craft time. Chloe made a fairy garden and Cooper made so much art he had to create an art exhibit in his room when he got home :-) Then we had a picnic and played at the park. What a fun morning/afternoon!

Ended the day with ice cream treats!

Cooper was really into it, lol. Graham was a little scared.

More zoo fun!

Monday trip to the zoo!

Chloe brought Grace and Cooper brought Graham :-) So fun to watch the kids have a great time together!

August 5th Sunday not so funday

At the top of the boat ramp Jason noticed the bearing was blown and the axle was bent. Resulted in a tow and shop time. But it's all fixed and ready to go now! Even got it derived home because to our surprise the shop owner lives in our neighborhood :-)

Burning bush!

I also planted a new bush where the old dead rose bush used to be, it's the far left one!

A few weeks back I also trimmed the two bushes beside the big burning bush :-) I might have cut through the electrical chord doing that one but good thing I'm married to an electrician lol!

New border!

I'm trying to do new things, things I would usually ask Jason to do. The grass was over grown around the rocks so I dug it out and shopped for matching bricks and did the border all by myself :-)

Sunday August 5th

Cooper proclaimed he ate three pieces of banana bread at school last year. So given this boy only eats a total of five different things, we made banana bread together and then had a piece!
